As you likely expect, there\nis one major distinction between these two visa types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Immigrant visas: Issued to those who seek permanent\nresidence in the United States after fulfilling visa requirements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non-immigrant visas: Issued to those who are planning to\nenter the United States on a temporary basis (for reasons such as tourism,\nwork, studying, or medical treatment).&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides this clear difference, what should you know about\nimmigrant visas and non-immigrant visas?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Immigrant Visas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Immigrant visas are granted to non US born individuals who\nplan to become citizens of the United States.
